Wash, condition, and blow dry your hair until it is partially dry, let it dry the rest of the way on its own the plug in the straightener for 5 minutes to allow it to heat up. For an ultra smooth finish choose a styling product designed for use with straightening irons and apply to hair. Working on small sections of hair creates a smoother finish. Start by running your fingers through your hair from the front just below the ears,and clip the upper layer out of the way.
