Haircut styles: Gucci-Style Straight Hair

Haircut styles presents Gucci-Style Straight Hair

There's straight, there's big straight and then there's 'Gucci-style' straight hairstyle, which leaves your hair looking like blades of grass all over. It is a very sharp look that makes your hair seem almost crispy. But be warned: this technique involves hot straightening irons and is potentially dehydrating to the hair if used regularly, so it is best saved for big dates only.

For Gucci Style Straight Hair

You need: Hairdryer, straightening brush, pump-action hairspray, straightening irons

1. Firstly, blow dry your hair straight.

2. Using a pump-action rather than an aerosol hairspray, spritz the hair until it is quite damp. (A pump-action hairspray releases a higher volume of product, which makes the hair damper.) Do this evenly down the entire length of your hair.

3. Take a small 2.5-cm (1-inch) wide section of hair and slowly run the straightening irons down it, from the roots to the ends.

4. Repeat this process all over the head, being sure to straighten the underneath layers and not just the top section. This should leave the hair totally separated into small individual 'blades'.
